I am in the middle of making this cake (it’s in the fridge), and would just make a minor adjustment to the post on difficulty from easy to moderate or whatever the next level up from easy is. There are a lot of steps to making it all happen, and lots of time from start to finish (not all hands on obviously). Also, some non-standard equipment is needed (like the spring form pan – may be standard for some, but not all. Hope it’s as good as it looks – the photos on the blog are so fabulous! Just made and us made and enjoyed this for our supper tonight. Very easy directions to follow and love making something new with ingredients on hand! This was wonderful!! I served with my left over garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, snow peas, carrots and onions. Just perfect after a rough day. Made these for thanksgiving and they were delicious!  (I had forgotten to make the whipped cream, so they were just the little cheesecakes on their own.) The 12 mini cheese cakes were the perfect amount.  As this was for Thanksgiving (with many, many pies) I was looking for several small fancy deserts to add some variety to the sweets table. Not only did these look fancy, but more importantly they also tasted great. In fact these turned out to be the main dessert attraction and I've been asked to make again for Christmas. Besides tasting great, I also found these much easier to make than a full size cheese cake. I baked a double batch of these cookies for our July 4th holiday family fish fry, and they were a big hit! I’ve been searching a long time for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, and I finally found it.. These are awesome!!! I made these the other night and they came out amazing! I love french fries and these tasted like they were from a restaurant. They took a little longer to cook to get them crispy and I put them under the broiler for 1.5 minutes, otherwise I followed the recipe. My boyfriend loved them and said they were perfectly seasoned and salty and didn’t sprinkle more salt on them (and he puts extra salt on everything)! Great recipe! The doughnuts themselves are sweet and nutty, with just the right amount of peanut butter flavor. The glaze is your basic confectioners’ sugar-milk combo sweetened up with jelly.
